A Private Winery Tour spent in the Yarra Valley
Last Sunday we were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful day spent in the Yarra Valley driving Andrew and his partner around in our Rolls Royce Silver Cloud for a very special private Yarra Valley tour.
We’re so grateful the weather held out (especially this time of year) and these two could enjoy their time in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
First up a bottle of bubbly was cracked for the scenic drive into the Yarra Valley in the comfort of the back of the Rolls, great conversation and some beautiful views are a highlight of the trip into the valley.
Our couples first stop was the popular Balgownie Estate Winery for some wine tasting and a few cheeky wine purchases (lucky the Rolls has a large boot).
Next stop was the rustic Yarra Valley Dairy, a little bit of dirt road action was no problem for the Rolls and we dropped these two right out the front for grande entrance. Inside is an amazing little cafe/restaurant complete with cheers platter tasting and wine tasting. Its cosy, quaint and perfect for a winter warmer.
Not far at all up the road was the next stop, The newly renovated Napoleon Brewery & Ciderhouse and right next door to Meletos Cafe. A bustling and beautifully designed building situated on a stunning property surrounded by apple orchards . Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area and want a delicious lunch or a tasty cider.
A short drive into Healesville for our last stop at the Four Pillars Gin Distillery, for just $10 you are able to sample many of the fine Gins this local distillery create. There is also the option to pair the Gin with a tasting platter. Inside and outside this place has some amazing architecture with lots of brass vats and pipes being incorporated into the design.
Our guests came away from Four Pillars after a few well deserved drinks relaxed and ready for the journey back home with fond memories and a boot full of bounty from the days adventures.
Thanks again to you both we had a great time spent with you and hope you enjoyed the tour.
