Jaguar Mk5 Sedan (1950-51)
About this Model
Jaguar introduced the beautiful Mk5 model following World War II. The classic pre-war design was modernized with headlamps flared into the front fenders. However, the amazingly graceful pre-war body lines remained, with opposing doors, large flowing rear fender skirts and a reverse opening boot lid with tool compartment inside. The Jaguar Mk5 was discontinued in 1952 and replaced by the larger MkVII, although it only had a short model run it is still one of the Jaguars most aesthetically pleasing models.
What can i match with the Jaguars?
Many couples choose to book multiple Jaguar Mk5 sedan wedding cars as their lead car and also one or two more for the bridal party. In the warmer months they will also be combined with one of our Jaguar MkV Convertibles. Other popular cars are to mix the Jaguar with a Daimler Royal Limousine or even with our Rolls Royce Wraith as the lead car with 1 or 2 Jags for the bridal party.
Our classic Jaguar Mk7 Sedans also match well with the Jaguar Mk5’s especially in the Black combination
How many passengers can these cars seat?
Our Jaguar Mk5 Sedans can seat up to 4 passengers. 3 passengers in the back and 1 next to the driver. The Jaguars are quite low so they are easy to get in and out of without the need to climb up to a high seat with plenty of leg room for the brides wedding gown.
