1951 Jaguar Mk5 Convertible
About this Model
Let the Jaguar Mk5 Convertible (also known as the Drop Head Coupe) add a touch of refined elegance to your wedding day. The sleek and sensuous curves of the convertible will not only turn heads, but will provide your photographer with a beautiful backdrop for your wedding day photographs.
The recently married Pippa Middleton used a stunning Silver Jaguar Mk5 Convertible for her wedding and arrived to her ceremony in classic style. There were less than 1,000 convertibles ever made and even less in existence now which makes them very special indeed.
These curvaceous convertibles represent the best of both worlds. We will spend most of the day with the roof closed (so as not to ruin the brides hair) and will open the roof for the entrance to the ceremony and also for photos.
What can i match with this car?
We find many couples will use the Jaguar Convertible combined with a pair of Jaguar Mk5 Sedans which is perfect for bridal parties from 6-8 in numbers. We also find the Jaguar Mk5 Convertibles also match well with the larger Daimler Royal Limousines.
How many passengers can these cars seat?
Our classic Jaguar Convertible wedding cars can seat up to 3 adult passengers. 2 in the back and 1 in the front next to the driver. As the convertible is a 2 door it is not as roomy as the Jaguar Sedans so we do advise coming to view and sit in these cars before booking.
What colours are available?
We have two classic Jaguar Mk5 Convertibles in our fleet with the following colour schemes available.
• Gloss Black – 1 Available
• Two Tone (Black & Ivory)– 1 Available
The perfect car for that summer wedding, the convertible not only turns heads, but will provide your photographer with a beautiful backdrop for your wedding day photographs.
We invite you to arrange an appointment at our showroom to see these cars for yourself, you wont be disappointed.
